Admission into 3-Year Diploma in Engineering & Technology Courses – 2025-26

The Directorate of Technical Education, Assam invites online applications for admission into 3-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology Courses in State Government Polytechnics of Assam for the academic session 2025-26. Candidates who are permanent residents of Assam are eligible. Non-residents can apply under the Central Government Employee (CGE) quota.

Key Dates:

• Online Application Starts - 19th May 2025
• Online Application Ends - 7th June 2025
• Merit List Declaration - To be announced later

Eligibility Criteria:

• Domicile: Permanent Resident of Assam (except for CGE quota)
• Academic: Must have passed HSLC or equivalent in a single sitting
• Mathematics and Science must be compulsory subjects
• Must pass both Theory and Practical in Mathematics and Science
• Minimum Average % in Math & Science: General/OBC/MOBC: 33% SC: 40% ST: 35%
• Age Limit: Minimum 16 years as on 31-12-2025; no upper age limit

• Register and fill the application form
• Upload necessary documents (PRC, caste/EWS certificates, etc)
• Pay ₹300/- application fee (plus bank charges) via the provided payment link
• Submit the application form after successful payment
