Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme (TES-54) – Jan 2026 Course

The Indian Army is accepting applications for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES-54) for the course commencing in January 2026. This is a direct entry route for unmarried male candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2025. Unlike the NDA route, TES is specifically for students interested in a technical career in the Army. A total of 90 vacancies are available (provisional). Selected candidates will undergo training and be commissioned as officers in the Indian Army.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Gender: Unmarried Male Candidates
• Education: Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
• Additional Requirement: Appeared in JEE (Mains) 2025
• Age Limit: Born between 02 July 2006 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive)
• Must meet physical and medical standards set by the Indian Army

How to Apply/Download:

• Step 1: Visit joinindianarmy official website
• Step 2: Click on the ‘Online Application’ button under Officer Entry
• Step 3: Fill out all personal, academic, and JEE (Mains) 2025 details correctly
• Step 4: Read and accept terms and conditions before final submission
• Step 5: You may edit your application till the deadline Make sure to click ‘Submit’ each time
• Step 6: After final submission, a confirmation dialog will appear Roll number will be generated 30 minutes after deadline
• Step 7: Print two copies of the submitted application with Roll Number One self-attested copy is to be carried to the SSB interview Documents to carry to SSB: Original and two self-attested copies of: Class 10th and 12th certificates & mark sheets Valid ID proof JEE (Mains) 2025 result copy 20 self-attested passport-size photographs Do not send any hard copy to the Directorate General of Recruiting Only one application per candidate is permitted
